The 2023 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel was awarded to American economist Claudia Goldin for having advanced our understanding of women’s labour market outcomes. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced its decision on 9 October 2023, and the award ceremony took place in Stockholm on 10 December.
